God's Throne Room

Daniel 7:9–10 (nlt)
9 I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire,
10 and a river of fire was pouring out, flowing from his presence. Millions of angels ministered to him; many millions stood to attend him. Then the court began its session, and the books were opened.

Heavenly Father, you are the Ancient of Days, the Holy One, the Judge of heaven and earth. You exist in pure holiness and you sit on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire. A river of fire pours out from your presence. Millions of angels minister to you, and many millions stand to attend you. One day your final court session will begin, and the books will be opened, and you will judge all of mankind. Your judgment is righteous and true, all together holy and perfect. And yet, you are my Abba father, you are the one who saved me. Before your judgment comes you have freely offered me your own righteousness. In your love for me you have paid the full penalty of the judgment due to me, in your own son Jesus Christ. You are the awesome and holy judge, but you are also my loving Father, my Savior, and my Righteousness. In you I have no fear, only awesome reverence and great love in return for all you’ve done for me. Thank you Father, for saving me and placing me in your Righteousness, enabling me to escape the judgment that must come upon all sin. In Jesus’ name, amen.
