Heaven

Heaven is home. All that heaven is, is our home. Heaven is our permanent home. Heaven is beyond our imagination, and heaven is our home.

All that brings joy to our hearts is reserved for us in our heavenly home. At the heart of that joy will be Jesus, himself. He will be the center and the source of our eternal joy.

And heaven is real; it is tangible, it is a place of real experience and real relationship, where we will really be reunited with our loved ones and friends that have gone home before us, through their faith in Christ.

There will be nothing in heaven that will make us sad, or make us feel any other burdensome feeling we experience here. Our home in heaven is joy indescribable, in a perfect and very real relationship with Jesus, and with that same real relationship with loved ones and friends already there.

Heaven is our home; it is our promise, it is our inheritance reserved for us by God. The confidence of heaven drives us.

Romans 8:23 (NLT)
23 And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children... (Heaven!)

Philippians 3:20 (NLT)
20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.
